A Few Locations on Maui Maui tropical Gardens

Welcome to St.
John's Church

|
St. John's is a community that is celebrating God's love, nurturing
spirituality, and proclaiming the Gospel through worship, word and works. Anyone
who feels called by the Spirit of God to receive communion is invited to do so.
The Church doors are open at
all times where people can find a quiet place for prayer day or night.
Our priest, The Reverend
Heather Mueller-Fitch has been Rector of St. John's since 1981. She is one of
the first women ordained as priest in the Episcopal Church, and the second woman
ordained Episcopal Priest in the Diocese of Hawaii.
"As rector of St. Johns Church, I see my role as the one
who coordinates opportunities for spiritual adventures. I envision this
beautiful corner of the world as a banquet table laden with delights... Quiet
days, spiritual retreats, labyrinth walks, musical concerts, Family reunions,
Vestry retreats, programs (Hildegard, Celtic, icon, art & spirit) and family
vacations. I cordially invite and encourage you to participate in worship
services and programs offered in this beautiful place."
The Community of St. John's welcomes you!

Maluaka Beach
Maluaka Beach is in Makena and perfect if you are staying in
Kihei or Wailea. The view consists of Kaho'olawe, Molokini and the north end
of Maui. The colors in the morning are wonderful. We start our morning
weddings at 8:00am or 8:30am. You may wish to follow up your wedding with a
wonderful breakfast or dinner at the Sea Watch which is 5 minutes away. The
sunsets are not bad either. We use North Maluaka at sunset and we start about
1 and 1/2 hours before it sets.
This is the south end of the beach and it is best for morning weddings! |
 |
There is a lot of beatiful lava rock for pictures at this location. |

|
Napili Bay
This beach is located in West Maui and it is perfect for small
intimate morning or sunset weddings. This beach is sometimes a little less
crowded than most.
There is a lot of Lava rock at this beach and usually it is pretty quiet
at this location. |

|
MAKENA COVE
Hawaii
beaches are public, and therefore free to use. If you are staying at a
waterfront location, the beach in front of your lodging may be the perfect
spot. Please be aware that beaches can be crowded during the day, affording
limited privacy, although most tend to clear off near sunset (which of
course is the most popular time of day to have a wedding).

"A large grassy area overlooking the beautiful Pacific ocean with views of
Lanai, Molokini and Ka’ahoolawe. Have your wedding in the park then its off
to the beach for romantic sunset photo’s." |

| "Sink your
toes in the sand as you have your ceremony on this white sandy beach of
Hawaii. You’ll feel as if this beach was made just for the two of you on
your special day." |
