How do I obtain a Marriage License in Hawaii? A license information package can be obtained from the State of Hawaii prior to your arrival. It will contain a license application form which can be completed at home. Print form neatly in black ink, fill in completely but do not sign. Bring this completed form with you to Hawaii. Once obtained, a license is valid for (30) days throughout the State. We will set up an appointment 30 days prior to your arrival with one of the Marriage License Agents on the island in which you have booked your wedding and honeymoon for you. The cost of the License is $50.00 and must be paid in cash to the marriage license agent. Appointments are only taken Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Proper photo identification is also required. Please note, that the fees shall be raised to $50.00 starting September 1, 1998. Some fees may be higher or lower depending on the venue, date, time, and availability. With each planned event, we will provide an estimation of our fees with the wedding venue. Our primary concern is to provide all of our clients with the highest caliber of qualified and professional vendors to make your wedding and honeymoon experience in Hawaii memorable and exquisite! We require a $200.00 deposit to hold your reservations and secure your dates. Payments may be made either online using our secure server or you may send your payment to: Blue Hawaii Weddings, P.O. Box 383556, Waikoloa, Hawaii 96738. If you wish, we will also accept a fax reservation, provided you supply us with your banking information at (808) 883-2583. Upon receipt, we will send you confirmation of your selected wedding venue, our services agreement outlining the details of your wedding venue, payment schedule, and any other pertinent details. We will then proceed to secure the needed vendors to complete your wedding venue. All vendors scheduled for your event will be under contract with Blue Hawaii Weddings. This secures your wedding venue and protects all parties involved. Contracts with hotels, wedding sites, photographers, videographers, florists, ministers, etc. Blue Hawaii Weddings will not be responsible for any vendor, if deposits have not been made as scheduled by our services agreement for your wedding venue. All payments must be paid in full prior to your arrival in Hawaii to guarantee your reservations.
How do I pay for my wedding and honeymoon package? We accept
After you have selected your wedding and honeymoon package or if you have created your own wedding venue, we will send you our confirmation of your wedding venue, a general price list or quote. Once confirmed with a deposit, we will send you our services agreement for signature and finalization of your booking. We will require a deposit of $200.00 upon receipt of your reservations to hold your dates. This $200.00 deposit is credited towards payment of our coordination fees. This service begins when we start to make arrangements for your venue. If you prefer to pay by mail, payment of the deposit must either be in the form of a check, money order, cashier's check . On short notifications, this deposit may be increased to include hotel deposits, car deposits, reception deposits for food and beverage, tuxedo and gown rental deposits and/or be payable in full. What is your cancellation policies ? Blue Hawaii's Cancellation policies are as follows: Depending on the deposit we may have, the cancellation fees are as follows: We will refund your deposit of $200.00 if you cancel your package at least 30 days prior to your event. For cancellations received 15 to 29 days prior to your event, there is a non-refundable fee of $100.00. For cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the event, there is no refund. Deposits of $500.00, we will refund your deposit in full if we receive cancellation 60 days prior to your event. For cancellations received between 45 to 59 days prior to your event there is a non-refundable fee of $250.00. Cancellations received less than 44 days prior to your event is non-refundable. Deposits of $1000, we will refund your deposit if we receive cancellations 90 days prior to your event. For cancellations received between 60 to 89 days prior to your event, there is a non-refundable fee of $500.00. For cancellations received less than 59 days prior to your event there is no refund. Any additional deposits received by Blue Hawaii Weddings and paid on your behalf to hotels, car companies, musicians, wedding sites, or any other vendor, cancellation policies that apply to these vendors shall prevail. Our online wedding planner is the correct form to complete so that you may design your own wedding venue that you want to experience on your special day. Fees for this service depends on your venue. We will give you a quote after receipt of your venue by email, then follow up with a contract, deposit request, and copy of your venue. We will keep your information for a period of 1 week after we email you our quote. If you do not email us to confirm your reservation, then we will eliminate your information from our system. Can we have just a wedding package or just a honeymoon package? Yes, we have wedding only packages available for each island by visiting our wedding packages link. You may look at some budget packages to give you an idea of what you may want to have, or use our wedding planner and create your own wedding venue. Yes, we will also arrange a special honeymoon package for you to include airfare, hotel accommodations, rental cars, and any activities you may want to experience. This packages are ticketed and booked through our travel agent, Linda, with VIP Travel Agency in Hawaii. Our Honeymoon specialists will work with a wedding coordinator to create a perfect wedding and honeymoon package for you to experience in Hawaii.
Can you send me a brochure of your wedding packages? We do not send out brochures. In addition, because our packages are constantly changing, we are do not print brochures. We are however, working on a cd in which we will be able to easily update without tremendous costs, and send these to out for inquiries.
